Our Chapter has embarked on some exciting plans for our association and for the local community as a whole.  First and foremost we are proud to announce the establishment of an Endowment Fund througgh the University's Foundation that will enable us when it fully funded, to give Scholorships to Deserving Students from our local community.  By accomplishing this vision the J.R.E Lee Alumni Chapter has raised the bar a little higher for the other Chapters in our National association to capture this vision.  Yes, we are proud to FIRST.

Now for all the golfers, on September 24, 1999 we are having our second annual J.R.E. Lee Alumni Chapter Golf Tournament.  The inaugural Tournament was a big success and this year  we a re hopeful to make it even better.  The proceeds from the event and others willgo towards the funding of our Endowment.

These are just two of the many ideas to come that will continue to keep the members of the J.R.E. Lee Alumni Chapter focused on the prize. (FAMU)
